Meet the Founder
My name is Christina Carden, I'm more than just the founder of K & K Connections LLC- I'm passionate mother, relentless advocates, and dedicated community leader determined to create a more inclusive and understanding world for autistic individuals and their families.
As a proud mother of two autistic sons, my journey has been deeply personal. Navigating the challenges of raising children on the autism spectrum opened my eyes to the critical gaps in resources, support, and representation-especially within minority communities. What I couldn't find for my family, I set out to build for others.
With a heart rooted in empathy and a voice that refuses to be silenced, I the founder of K & K Connections LLC plans to bridge the gaps. My mission is simple yet powerful: to foster a supportive community where families feel seen, heard, and empowered. Through advocacy, education, and meaningful connections, I'm working to break down all barriers and challenge the misconceptions that surround autism.
My leadership style is hands-on, heartfelt, and fearless. I believe that "advocacy starts at home echoes in the community." Under my guidance, K & K Connections has become a safe space where families can access resources, share their stories, and celebrate every milestone-big or small.
My dedication goes beyond titles and organizations; it's reflection of my daily life, my love for my children, and my unwavering commitment to make a difference.
When I'm not working on new programs or community events, I'm inspiring others with my transparency, authenticity, and determination to turn obstacles into opportunities.

Our Story
Why & How K & K Connections Was Born
K & K Connections LLC was born out of both challenge and love-a journey that began not in a boardroom, but in the everyday life of a mother determined to give her children the best possible future. As a parent of two autistic sons, I faced the harsh realities of navigating a world that too often misunderstands and overlooks neurodiverse individuals and their families.
I experienced firsthand the isolation that comes with trying to find support, the frustration of being met with assumptions instead of empathy, and the emotional weight of advocating alone. There were moments when it felt like no one was listening-but giving up was never an option.
I realized that if the support my family needed didn't exist, I would create it.
And so, K & K Connections LLC was founded not just for my children, but for every family walking a similar path. This organization is built on the foundation of advocacy, education, and community, with mission to empower families, raise awareness, and create spaces where inclusion isn't an afterthought, but a priority.
Our slogan, "Don't Assume, EDUCATE," reflects the heart of what we do. We believe that real change start with understanding. Through parent support groups, autism workshops, sensory-friendly events, and community outreach, we strive to connect families, uplift voices, and reshape perceptions.
K & K Connections isn't just an organization. It's a movement. It's a promise that no family should ever feel alone on their autism journey.
